Alison Doody

Alison Doody was born in Dublin in 1966. She was raised in a well-off family. Doody is the youngest of three. In a convent she developed an interest in arts. After that, she studied at in the National College of Fine Arts in Dublin however, she left because she had a lack of motivation. The thought was that she'd take a break for a while to get the hang of things. In the meantime, while she was with her acquaintances in a caf , an older photographer approached her and inquired about her interest to model. In the hopes that she would earn some money through this, she jumped at the chance. In no time, she began working professional as a model. Modeling contract work led to commercials and she was able to travel the globe. One day, a casting director saw her work and recommended she attempt acting instead. At age 19, she was taken to London, where she won the opportunity to play A View to a Kill ( 1985) A View to a Kill, the newest James Bond movie. It was her dream to act and she ultimately decided to go after a career as an actor. After her first film was made, she shot several TV dramas in London and Dublin, but her big break came when she got chosen to play Aryan lover in Dr. Elsa Schneider in Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade (1989).
