Jamie Colby
Colby, National News Anchor and correspondent for Fox News has worked there since July 2003. Before the move to FOX News Channel, Colby worked as a correspondent at CNN and served as anchor and reporter for CBS News as well as a anchors filling in on CBS's Up to the Minute. She was also an anchor for WPIX/WB-11 New York, a reporter at WNYW FOX 5 New York, and a correspondent/co-anchor on FOX News' WebMD TV. Colby is an attorney who has been licensed to practice law throughout New York, California, Florida as well as in the District of Columbia. She received awards such as the Edward R.Murrow Award in 2002, for covering the attacks of September 11 as well as for her reporting on the September 11 attacks. Gracie Award for Investigative Reporting in 2000, as well as the Clarion Award for Women in Communications. The award also included her as Television Week's "Rising News Star to Follow". Colby was also an attorney in private law firms during her 10 year tenure. She began her law career working for a Hollywood entertainment company that brought her on The Tonight Show. In her early 20s, Colby began her career as a reporter and host on Johnny Carson, both during the contract renewal process of NBC alongside him as well as during his divorce. From January of 2015, Colby has served as reporter and host on her Fox Business show, Strange Inheritance, which covers quirky or surprising legacy left behind by relatives or friends
